Socio-Economic Condition, Different Notion of Respect , Culture, Unity of Diversity.

Nationalism: Choice or Reason

Kumar Avinash

India is a country of diversity where we see unity in diversity where people have emotions with the nation from their perspective. The socio, economic, and cultural practices across the nation varied from place to place so regional disparity also exists in the nation along with unity. The regional disparity in the economic sense is also varied as we have taken the parameter of the standard of living and socio-economic condition. As we compare the states across the nation we have shown that some states are well off and have a better standard of living and some states are worse off and low standard of living in the relative terms. This disparity somehow I try to interlinked with nationalism and this is my personal opinion regardless to hurt any sentiments of people of the nation. To serve the nation is the pride for all the citizens of the country. The defense services have a different domain and different category of individual who serve the nation but here I am only discussing the defense jobs which are at the beginning level. The citizens who join the hands of the defense services at the beginning level always raises a question in my mind that Is it choice to join this service? Or Is there is a reason behind? Yeah, it is true joining these services by Choice, to serve the nation is a dream and passion for the individuals who join the hand of these services at the beginning level but along with this many individuals who join the hand of defense with a reason apart from serving the nation. The socio-economic condition of the individual who joined the service with the reason is not worthy. Most of the defense services at the beginning level of entry have eligibility onwards class 10th and the individual belonging from this section who join the hand of defense almost with a reason focus on this defense jobs and enter in the service, so they are doing their best effort to enter in the services and their determination make them into result. I have come across many citizens in my life who is serving the nation some of them are told me that they join this service by their Choice and most of them are told me that they also want to continue their further study but their circumstance is the reason to join this service. So it is quite easy to enter in these services and curb their financial burden and carry a tag of government jobs at this stage with this minimum education is required and offer a good salary with many other facilities. Therefore we can say that the people who joined for the Reason also serve the nation and the people who joined by Choice also serve the nation. So nationalism by Choice or by Reason both serve the nation, so in the same way the individual who is not raising the slogan “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” is not anti-national or not respect their nation. They also respect their nation but the notion of respect is different. Therefore according to me; Nationalism is all about how you relate the things according to your situation and there is no parameter of nationalism, We the People of India is enough for the Nationalism. Therefore we conclude that “Diversity” leads to anything” but India is a country of “Unity of Diversity”.

Chai pea Charcha: A Political Slogan Kumar Avinash India is a democratic country where the citizen of the country has the right to vote and elect the government. The slogan Chai pea Charcha is very famous after the mandate of the vote in the favour of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The slogan is very famous because in early childhood Modi was selling tea and from there he became the prime minister of the largest democratic nation of the world. So the journey from tea seller to the prime minister is very uncommon in the nation, therefore the slogan Chai pea Charcha is famous that even a tea seller became the prime minister then why not a common man not dream about their goals. This is one side of the story, but when you go to check the ration behind this slogan there is a lot of political benefits for the party because the mass of the population of the country is belonging form a marginal section of the economically backward class. The figure of PM Modi is used as a symbol for th...
